The Hall also hosts gatherings that aren’t weddings. Milestone birthdays. Private family reunions. Occasional private dinners cooked by Eunice Power when we host one of our retreat weeks.
We’ve had a few corporate founder retreats for small groups who take the estate for the week. It isn’t hired out as a stand-alone venue. The Hall comes with the estate — if you’re here, it’s part of it. If you’re not, we’re probably not the right fit.
Beyond weddings, Gardenmorris has provided the setting for all kinds of private and corporate occasions — from birthday celebrations and family gatherings to fundraising events, business launches, private dinners and small-scale corporate retreats. Each is different, and we approach them accordingly.
We work with a trusted network of caterers, event planners, chefs and other suppliers, while also giving guests the freedom to bring in people they know and trust. Whether that means an intimate dinner prepared by one of our preferred catering partners, a relaxed family gathering, a professionally organised retreat or a larger celebration, we can work with you and your chosen team to make the estate suit the occasion.
For corporate groups, the estate can be hired exclusively, providing a private setting away from the distractions of the usual workplace. For families and private groups, it offers the same sense of privacy and space — somewhere to gather, stay, eat and spend time together without having to fit into the usual format of a hotel or traditional event venue.
There is no set template for how an event at Gardenmorris should look. The Hall, the house, the grounds and the accommodation form part of one private estate, giving you the flexibility to shape the experience around your group and what you want to do here.
Gardenmorris is not a conventional events venue, and we don’t aim to be. We offer the estate for private use when the occasion is the right fit — giving you the space, privacy and freedom to make it your own.

We read every enquiry ourselves and will come back to you within a day or two.
