Gardenmorris Estate

Welcome to Gardenmorris estate, founded in 1631, is a historical French Chateux style house set in the gorgeous countryside of Waterford and just a few kilometres from the beautiful copper coast. Gardenmorris estate also encompasses a busy working farm during the week, and at the weekend is a magical setting for Weddings and many other events and celebrations.

The estate is the private residence of Eileen Queally and her late husband Peter, well known for throwing a good party at their home over the years. Eileen and her son Cathal now invite you to have your event at their Banquet hall and to also make use of their wonderful gardens and create a truly magnificent and special experience both for you and your guests.

Weddings

The Banquet Hall dates back to the early 19th century when it was part of the farm building complex of the main house. It fell into dereliction during the middle part of the 20th century before being renovated in 1999 for the Wedding of one the Peter and Eileen Queally’s daughters. Given that the new millennium was just months away, Peter Queally called it ‘Millennium Hall’ and the name stuck for several years.

The Banquet hall can host up to 300 guests and has facilities for any caterer chosen. We will run a fully licensed bar on the event night and have close working relationships with a range of local suppliers from Florists to DJ’ which will allow you customise your occasion to your own desire.

We would be honoured to show you around our estate, gardens and banquet hall for your consideration. We also run open days at intervals throughout the year whereby we set the banquet hall as present it as it would for a wedding event or private party.

Since we are recently opened, we have several dates available for this year’s wedding season as well as dates for 2025.
